5-Day Elk and Game Hunting Expeditions

Roadrunner Tours is a licensed New Mexico Outfitter and Guide company and has been providing guided and drop camp hunting expeditions for over thirty years. Elk Hunts are the most popular type of hunts in Northern New Mexico, but we also provide hunts for other large or small game.

PUBLIC LAND HUNT : All hunters are required to obtain their own New Mexico Game & Fish hunting licenses. Public land hunts require hunters to enter the lottery drawing to obtain specific game licences. Hunters are advised that they need to submit their lottery entry application by early February each year.

PRIVATE LAND HUNT : Permits for private land hunts require hunters to obtain a New Mexico Game & Fish license at the designated ranch where the hunt will take place, but this must be administered by Roadrunner Tours for your planned hunt.

To begin planning your Hunting Expedition with Roadrunner Tours please contact Nancy Burch today at 575-377-6416. We look forward to working with you and your fellow hunters to plan the most memorable and unique hunting experiences.

Drop Camps

For our drop camp horseback expeditions our guides provide pack-in and pack-out services with both horses and mules for your five-day hunt.

Guided Hunts

Our guided hunts include elk hunting guides (2-to-1) and horses if desired. Our staff will retrieve your elk or large game by horseback or four-wheel drive vehicle.

Private Land Hunts

If planned far enough in advance lodging in private cabins can be arranged. Cow hunts are also available.
